Ultimate world-first hat-trick achieved by the Valtra S Series

In a world’s first, the sixth generation Valtra S Series has won all three major design awards in one year. In just a few months, Valtra has walked away with a Good Design Award, iF DESIGN AWARD, and now the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025. This remarkable feat has never before been achieved by any tractor brand. Red Dot judges were so impressed with the S Series’ design and attention to user experience that they awarded the tractor the Red Dot: Best of the Best Award. This is an unprecedented move, having never been inferred on a tractor before. This special recognition is the highest distinction in the competition and is only awarded to truly pioneering designs. 

Kimmo Wihinen, Head of Industrial Design and User Experience at Valtra underscores the importance of the Valtra S Series’ recent awards success, "It feels extremely special to have won all three of the world's biggest and most prestigious design competitions with the Valtra S6. Winners are invited to a special Red Dot Gala event on the 8th of July 2025 in Essen, Germany. The Red Dot: Best of the Best Award will be presented to the Valtra team in the aptly named Aalto-Theater which was designed by renowned Finnish architect, Alvar Aalto.
