When Kristin Nyengen goes up the steep slopes of Hurdal with her dumper trailer full of gravel, it's good to have 305 horsepower from the powerful 7.4 litre AGCO engine at the heart of the Valtra Q305. And when she's over the top, cruising speed isn't far away.

- “The Valtra Q305 is very comfortable to drive. The tractor does the heavy work, which makes long days of transporting loads or excavators less of a burden. We have one point where it's particularly steep here, and the Q Series is 20 km/h faster than the T Series, and over the hill it's straight up to cruising speed. This is important for efficiency,” says driver Kristin Nyengen of Grønvold Bygg AS.
She spends many hours in the tractor seat and is pleased that her boss recently upgraded to the new Q-series.
- "We were very happy with the Valtra T234D, but when we had the opportunity to add 50-60 horsepower and a higher gross vehicle weight, while the size of the tractor remained roughly the same, we decided to go for it," says general manager Kristoffer Grønvold.
He is a trained carpenter and started his own business in 2008. A few years later, he established Grønvold Bygg AS. Today, the company has nine permanent employees and builds everything from garages and extensions to flats and homes. They also have a machine department with excavators and tractors that offer snow ploughing and gritting in the winter and carry out groundwork on their own projects and for other construction companies.
- "Margins are tight, so it's important to keep costs under control. Using Valtra Connect, I can see the diesel consumption, among other things. The Q305 actually uses 1.3 litres less per hour than the T234D did. In addition, Valtra has a five-year factory warranty, and the service from Akershus Traktor and Torstein Sjåheim is top-notch, which is incredibly important to us," Grønvold emphasises.
General Manager Kristoffer Grønvold of Grønvold Bygg AS recently upgraded to a Q305, which driver Kristin Nyengen drives on a daily basis. It uses less fuel, is more efficient on the road and with Valtra Connect they have full control over the operation.
