The Valtra A Series has now become more versatile and comfortable with the introduction of the new A104 and A114 models with HiTech 4 transmission.

The new 16+16R powershift transmission features four ranges with four powershift steps each. The transmission has been optimized for field and farmyard work with six speeds available in the main work speed range between 4 and12 km/h. A super creeper 32+32R option is further available allowing speeds below 100 metres per hour at 1400 rpm engine speed. 

Comfort and ease of operation

The new HiTech 4 models are designed for smooth and effortless operation with minimized use of the clutch pedal. The tractor is operated via rocker switches on the ergonomically placed lever. A range of automatic and pre-programmable functions let the operator focus on the implement and work surroundings while the tractor takes care of the shifting. Front-loader tasks can now be handled even more precisely thanks to the new electronic controls featuring a joystick with optional 3^rd and 4^th function, SoftDrive shock absorber and hydraulic implement locking.

The A Series HiTech 4 models offer a new level of driver comfort. A mechanical cab suspension with two Panhard rods for increased stability can be fitted as an option. The level of suspension can be pre-adjusted just like on Valtra N and T Series tractors.

New level of performance

Monitoring the performance of the tractor is now easier thanks to the brand new dashboard. The instrument panel has been designed for excellent readability even in bright sunlight. The display can easily be adjusted to show information relevant to specific work task.

A104 and A114 HiTech 4 models are powered by four-cylinder AGCO Power AWFC engines producing up to 100 and 110 hp. The stage 4 compliant engines feature only SCR after-treatment technology reducing emissions while keeping service costs to a minimum.

In response to customer demand, the new A Series models can now also be equipped with a front PTO and front linkage available via the Valtra Unlimited studio at the Suolahti factory.

Connect, Care and Go - maximized uptime

Valtra A Series tractors are eligible for the Valtra “Connect, Care & Go” service offering which allows the customer to pre-define service costs related to their machine. Valtra Connect offers access to online services, fleet telemetry information and pro-active dealer maintenance.

Customers can further select a Valtra Care extended warranty contract which offers security against repair costs (except wear). Extended warranty is available in most European markets for up to five years or 6000 hours and with three excess levels 0€, 290€ or 590€.

For maximum uptime, guaranteed efficiency and maximum residual machine value, Valtra dealers and distribution partners can offer the Valtra Go service package which includes all prescribed maintenance work bookable up to 10,000 hours.

Award-winning design

Presented in 2017 the fourth generation Valtra A Series has been critically acclaimed thanks to its outstanding design and usability. The tractor series was elected Machine of the Year 2017 and won the Red Dot Design award 2018 in the category “Commercial Vehicles”. 

Production and delivery of the new HiTech 4 models has already begun. They will be on first public display at the LAMMA show in the United Kingdom on 8-9 January 2019.
