From virtual to real: Valtra joins "FARMING REALITY", the real-life competition of the Farming Simulator tournament.
The Ministry of Agriculture of France is launching a tournament on the agricultural simulation game Farming Simulator to promote the sector, particularly among young people who seem to be losing interest.
The competition will be played in teams and will take place in two parts: a first qualification round which will take place on the 27th and 28th of November, before the final round on the 6th December. The face-to-face final event will be broadcast on the Twitch platform.
Moving from virtual to the real: Our mission as major players of the agricultural world
The competition is organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and goes beyond the virtual. A team of players of the agricultural world had the idea of creating a real event: “Farming Reality”. A real farm, real machines, motivated teams, a big national buzz relayed through the press, social networks, and influencers present in large numbers.
Valtra has not hesitated in joining the adventure of “Farming Reality”, a big event that aims to encourage young people to consider a career in agriculture. This transition from the virtual to the real world is a great way of showing young people that careers in agriculture are accessible to everyone in real life and that they should not be afraid to take the plunge.
For the 4th of December event, Valtra will have the pleasure to participate actively as organizer. Valtra tractors will be used to carry out all the activities of the day and will be a great chance for competitors and influencers to get behind the wheel of Valtra 5th generation tractors.
Influencers from the agricultural world will be present at this large-scale event. Sharing their professional experiences through videos and video-game, they are happy to participate in this event in real life and to encourage as many people as possible to enter these professions. Their presence will no doubt, allow the event to be relayed widely, and thus substantially increase its visibility while producing content to promote their experiences and professions.
