Valtra delivers to customers the first of our sixth generation S Series tractors made in Finland
Farmer-first VIP delivery day event marks the beginning of the Valtra S Series delivery
Production of Valtra’s highest horsepower tractor, the S Series is in full swing with the first completed tractors rolling off the production line this autumn. To celebrate the delivery of the first 50 S Series tractors the Finnish tractor brand has organised a special VIP customer delivery day at their home factory in Suolahti, Finland. The Boss Delivery Day event was attended by over 40 farmers and contractors from seven countries across Europe. Highlights of the exclusive event will be streamed on Valtra’s YouTube channel at a special premier where online audience members can ask questions live on the 10th of September 1pm Finnish time.
The S416 model S Series is a finalist in the Tractor of the Year 2025 awards in the High Power category. The 280-425 hp tractor comes with all the smart farming features large farmers and contractors and other special segment customers expect for increased productivity. As the sixth generation S Series is now made in Finland the entire S Series range can be fully customised through our Unlimited studio. The delivery day event included many VIP experiences including personally handing over the keys to the new S Series owners, test driving experiences, a comprehensive handover with a smart farming focus, and guided factory tours. We have made significant investments in our home factory in Suolahti. We would like to demonstrate how these investments have paid off in terms of quality assurance, production time, and sustainability.
Valtra is owned by the multinational AGCO Corporation which has 110 facilities in 31 countries worldwide. Valtra’s Suolahti factory is AGCO’s most sustainable site thanks to our commitment to using 100% renewable energy, reducing emissions, and large capital investments such as the new paint shop. Since 2017, Valtra has used 5 million litres of Neste My Renewable Diesel. Neste has calculated that this has prevented over 15 000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions from entering the atmosphere. Tiina Herlevi, Director of Manufacturing, Valtra EME explains that “We have made these significant investments in technology and facilities at our factory in Suolahti to improve product quality as seen in the S Series, and the sustainability of our operations, as well as the comfort and safety for our team. We know sustainability is important to our customers and we’re proud to continue to lead the way in sustainable manufacturing.”
The S Series delivery day event marks the beginning of many customers’ S Series owning experience, however, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Valtra EME Matti Tiitinen underscores the importance of the ongoing relationship with Valtra’s customers, “We’re proud to invite the very first of our sixth generation S Series customers to our home in Finland. We know they have a great machine with the S Series, and with the investments we’re also making in our professional dealer network in terms of knowledge, capabilities, and branding, they will continue to have the very best tractor experience for years to come. Valtra’s S6 customers are served by our certified dealer network in Europe and we’re excited to be able to bring this product next to South America and Australia. At the Boss Delivery Day, the whole Valtra team has been focusing on learning from the customers about their future expectations on productivity, efficiency and digital transformation, and ensuring that our brand is going to be their long-term partner in developing the customers’ business. AGCO’s PTx Trimble investment fits well with these customers’ expectations on accelerating the adoption of new easy-to-use technology in their operations.”
The Boss Delivery Day event highlights will be streamed on Valtra’s Global YouTube channel on the 10th of September and live behind the scenes highlights will be live-streamed on Valtra’s Global TikTok and Instagram channels.
